Tuesday morning...

On Tuesday morning Payge, Raydon, Evelyn, Alicia and Evie explored the ramp, balls and cars. We got really excited doing this activity and explored how the objects reached the bottom of the ramp.

Payge transported the car to the ramp ready to roll down.

Evelyn held 2 balls in her hands ready to put onto the ramp.

Raydon approached Evelyn to watch the balls roll down the ramp.

Evie enjoyed filling the basket back up with the balls.

Alicia rolled the wheels onto her hand.

Payge pushed the textured ball down the ramp using a car.

Evelyn picked up a small ball off the floor.

She threw the ball and it bounced into the book box!

Evelyn found the ball and picked it up.

Alicia selected a bottle to see if it would roll down the ramp.

Payge picked up the bottle from the floor.

Nursery rhyme week and children in need

The children had fun this week singing a few familiar rhymes and learning some new rhymes too - below is Alicia holding and putting the dolly to bed whilst the adult sang 'miss prolly had a dolly'.

On Friday the children dressed up as superheroes for children in need.

Below Millie is Miss Captain America.

Below Jon-Junior as his hero Pudsey bear.

Below Evie had a Pudsey bear bandanna patch painted on one side of her face and a flower on the other.

Corral is her hero Minnie Mouse.

Colin is superhero Iron man.

Jaiden is superhero Spider-Man.

Snack time!

Here we are on Thursday morning having our snack. We really enjoy this time of day and eat foods such as toast, muffins, bagels, apples, pears, oranges and bananas. We drink our milk too to make us grow big and strong. We often count out how many bowls and cups we need for snack time and we've been practicing using the signs for the food items, milk, please, more and thank you.

Evie enjoys counting out the bowls and will say some number names alongside an adult.

Snack time is 1 of Jon-Juniors favourite parts of our routine!

Niall enjoyed his toast lots today!

Jon-Junior tried some pear.

Niall was able to drink lots of his milk all on his own.

Payge chose to have water instead of milk. She ate lots of toast too!
