Singing and shaking!

On Tuesday morning we practiced singing lots of nursery rhymes including 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star', 'Baa Baa Black Sheep', 'Wind The Bobbin Up' and 'Incy Wincy Spider'. We used the musical instruments to make some loud and quiet sounds too.

Raydon enjoyed using a shaker and set of bells to make sounds.

Payge felt the texture of the maraca before shaking it using both hands.

Alicia sang the songs alongside Nicola, and cheered when we had finished each song.

Evelyn was interested in the maracas and chose to shake one in each hand.

Evie stood up so she could shake the maraca in a big space.

Exploring in the 0-2 room

Evie enjoyed pulling out all the patterned rabbits from the basket.

Jaiden enjoyed exploring the sand feeling it with his hand and playing with the toy duck.

Colin also explored the sand picking up the sand and trying to scoop some sand into the bucket.

Evie played with the sensory shakers watching the bells roll around in the tube and listening to the noise they made.

Corral played with the electronic phone pressing the buttons and holding the phone to her ear.

Evie is very active crawling around the room and using the table to hold onto to pull herself up.

We are very busy exploring the room and sometimes we need to stop to have a rest and a drink.
